www.paperbackswap.com - If you're an avid reader you'll love this site.  Post a book and get a credit.  Use that credit to request a book from another member.  It will cost you shipping to ship a book to someone but when someone else ships you a book they pay. 

www.freecycle.org - Post an item you want to get rid of for free.  You can even ask for an item.  I saw a post from a lady asking for a garbage can with no bottom for composting.  What a great way to get rid of items or find something YOU need.

www.MusicandMemory.org - Got an old IPod or even too many?  Send it to this website and they load it with music for a person living in a nursing home to help improve their quality of life.  Once I saw this website I frantically searched till I found an old IPod collecting dust.  

www.NextWorth.com - I haven't visited this one yet but go there to compare what you can sell your unwanted gadgets, games and DVDs.  This company is a retail partner with Target. 

Also check out - Amazon.com - You can sell games, movies and books.  I sold my daughter's college textbooks there and then used the credit to buy books for my Kindle!  Nice!
